I started four paintings yesterday, and have a finished one I have yet to put up o here. A soul can only go so long without art. I found a part-time seasonal position as a cashier, and though after six years of school and a BS in communications I would not say that $7.85 an hour as a cashier working an hour from my house is what I had in mind for my first post college job. Oddly enough, after being out of work for so long I am filled with joy to just have a job. It has been far too long since I have painted. This year has been super busy and still continues to be. I have finally grad. from college and am now going through the tedious task of looking for a job; oh, and I'm in the process of planning my wedding that will be this November. With all of this though I have reached a point where I can't not paint anymore. It has been over a year and though I have completed some drawings over the year it just isn't the same. Hopefully I will have some new work up soon. Cheers.

It truly is amazing how much a person's life can change in just a few years. It's even more amazing how much it can change in a single year, month, day or even second. I have experienced much change over the past three years. Some of it wasn't pleasant, but both good and bad times have made me a better person. It's time for change again, but this time instead of growing as an individual I'll be growing with a person I love dearly. James proposed and I couldn't feel luckier to have such a wonderful man to look forward to living my life with.
